Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) is a financial service which allows international credit cardholders in the U.S. to have the cost of their purchases to be instantly converted to their home currencies upon checkout. 

DCC works with foreign-issued MasterCard and Visa cards.  Currencies presently supported include the Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Euro and Japanese Yen.

With DCC, currency conversion is calculated at a competitive exchange rate, and the U.S. dollar amount, conversion rate, conversion fee and home currency amount are all itemized at the time of sale and printed on the credit card receipt.  The consumer no longer has to wait for his/her statement at the end of the billing cycle to find out the conversion rate.
