Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
On April 28, 2010, Visa announced amendments to their Operating Regulations regarding Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). Among these amendments is a mandate that prohibits the ability to set merchants up with DCC effective May 1, 2010. In order to remain compliant, NTC Texas will no longer offer DCC. This includes offering DCC to existing merchants or additional locations. Only merchants actively offering DCC as of April 30, 2010, will be allowed to continue offering DCC.
