Richardson ISD Enterprise City

NTC Texas is proud to announce the donation of credit and debit card processing terminals to Richardson ISD for use in the Enterprise City program.

“Many thanks to you and to NTC Texas for donating equipment to allow for the expansion of the Enterprise City program.  For 25 years, students have come to our facility for a 1-day simulation field trip where they can learn about business economics and personal finance by running businesses and managing a checking account.  We’ve taught thousands of students how to write a check.  Now, with your help, we can teach thousands more how to keep track of their debit card purchases!  www.risd.org   Thank you for helping your community to develop educated consumers.”  Jodi Freeman, Enterprise City

Dynamic Currency Conversion

On April 28, 2010, Visa announced amendments to their Operating Regulations regarding Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC).  Among these amendments is a mandate that prohibits the ability to set merchants up with DCC effective May 1, 2010.  In order to remain compliant, NTC Texas has immediately suspended all new DCC sales.  This includes offering DCC to existing merchants or additional locations.  Only merchants actively offering DCC as of April 30, 2010, will be allowed to continue offering DCC.

T-Bones Dinner

NTC Texas was proud to sponsor the welcome dinner for the Texas Orthopedic Administrators Society (T-Bones) at Uncle Julio’s in conjunction with their Annual Spring Meeting held in Grapevine, Texas.   We had a wonderful turnout with this amazing group of professionals.

About T-Bones:  T-BONES is an informal group of orthopaedic practice administrators from around the state of Texas. Statewide meetings are held twice a year to discuss topics of interest to orthopaedic practices, such as Workers’ Comp, claims payment, insurance regulations, etc. The primary benefit of participation in T-BONES is the unique opportunity to network with your peers.
While there are no official ties to the Bones Society, Inc., the national orthopaedic administrators organization, T-BONES is the result of a need to replicate the Bones Society on a more local level to address state and local issues that may impact orthopaedic practices.
